Direct Listing keeps the same marketplace and the same basic Core Value Unit, but shifts listing, pricing and outbound shipping back to the Seller while ThredUp still provides demand, payment coordination and marketplace-backed returns. The platform lesson is that platform architecture can change without changing the value being exchanged: the decisive shift can be who performs the activities around that value."
